ALBERTON – With a tough 2014 behind us, we wish you all the very best for this year. May this year rise up to exceed your wildest expectations, may you prosper, and the challenges along the way be easy to overcome.
At the beginning of this year we also wish to remind you that one of our very first community projects will be our golf day in conjunction with Ligstad. We are therefore calling all keen golfers to join us for a round in aid of this worthy cause.
This is scheduled for February 19 at Reading Country Club with the awesome prize of a brand new BMW for a hole-in-one on the 5th hole – you never know, you might just drive away in a brand new BMW 1 Series, courtesy of Alberante BMW.
You can enter a four-ball at R3 500, and companies are invited to sponsor a hole on the day. Hole sponsorships are available at R5 000 for holes 1, 7, 8, 10, 11, 15 and 18 and R2 500 for holes 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17.
Businesses and individuals can also come forward as sponsors for the green fees of R12 000 for the day, or sponsor the halfway house at R10 000 or dinner at R15 000 or contribute R15 000 toward the prizes for golfers on the day.
Funds raised on the day will be donated to Ligstad, a community project in Alberton North for the less privileged and needy in the community. Ligstad’s services include an aftercare centre for about 50 children, elderly care, a feeding scheme, counselling, distribution of clothing, upkeep of a vegetable garden in support of their feeding scheme as well as praise and worship.
