I just wanted to inform residents of the incident this week in Verwoerdpark, Alberton. We were the unfortunate victims of a crime in which our dog was poisoned and our house broken into at 03:50 in the morning while we were sleeping.
Fortunately the alarm was activated and the criminals fled.
We, however, contacted our neighbours to warn them, only to discover that at least seven dogs were poisoned in our street alone over the last two weeks.
Residents must please lock their dogs up. They are using two-step, which we all know is extremely poisonous. The SAP is aware, but no one has been arrested as yet.
