She usually gets there at 07:00 to ensure her early attendance. When she got there at 07:00, she joined some patients who were already standing outside the locked gates of the clinic. They waited outside the gates for a whole hour.
Among the patients there were pregnant women, the elderly, women carrying infants and little kids enduring the cold and drizzling weather with no mercy from the clinic staff.
Finally at 08:00 the gates opened and all the patients rushed inside to pull their files to be attended to. After pulling the files they sat down to be called in turns, however the staff was loitering around dragging their feet up and down without attending to the patients. A visit that usually takes her two hours, took her almost five hours.
Upon further enquiring about the situation, she was informed that the clinic was under a new matron management.
Very disappointing.
