A great danger to all

Resident has had enough of a massive hole which has been left unattended for more than a year.

This is an eyesore in the heart of Brackendowns, Komati Street.

Rand Water began work here in 2010, installing water pipes from Rand Water to Alrode. This hole has been left open or it seems that work has been abandoned now for over a year.

The hole is more than ten meters long, over four meters wide and about three meters deep. Every time it rains this hole becomes half full with water, it has now become a breeding ground for mosquitos, and no human or animal would be able to get out if they accidently fell into this hole, as they would drown in mud and reeds.

This hole has also blocked off the bicycle path to Bracken High and kids have to use the main roads to cycle to school.
