I could not agree more with the situation in question. While it is appreciated that our pavements and islands get mowed, the amount of rubbish and grass that is left lying in the road is a real eyesore.
The grass is even growing in bundles next to the curb by the islands in the middle of the road! And the rate payers must keep on paying more and more.
For example, one cannot even see the concrete paving in Overbury Street in Brackendowns as the grass has grown completely over it. Then drive from Overbury Street into Swartkoppies and all the way to the Fire Station and see the amount of grass next to the island in the middle of the road.
The entrance into the Fire Station is terrible and a real letdown for our lovely town. Here-to decent signage should be erected. How we are kept being ripped off by lazy and unmanaged people that just want more and more each year with less and less work being done. Management too should be taken to task.
