The Bag Lady

Only three weeks to Easter. Don’t leave buying your Easter eggs until the last minute because the less expensive ones sell out first.

Autumn is here and with it shorter days and cooler weather. Some of the trees are already losing their leaves and my garden, for one, is beginning to look a little untended in some areas. I definitely need to spend a few hours cutting back and thinning out some of the ground cover which is looking straggly. I have to say though, my impatiens are still looking beautiful.

Three weeks and counting

Yes, Easter is only three weeks away. I honestly can’t believe it, as usual, the year is rushing by. Some gorgeous themed Easter delights which will thrill little ones. Shop around for the best prices.

Woolworths sale

Well, was it worth it? Did you manage to buy some great bargains? I was there bright and early and found a few really great buys. Some customers went crazy, loading so much in their trollies, it was quite unbelievable. Funnily enough, I popped back later in the day and lo and behold, many customers were already taking items back and customer services was hectic.

Great service at Sasol Swartgoud

Maybe just in time with the post office closed in Columbine Square, Sasol Swartgoud has launched a new service, SkyNet, a national service.

Choose an envelope or a box to post your goods in, no weighing will be involved. An envelope will cost you R95, small box R95, medium box R110 and a large box R170. Send your parcel from Sasol Swartgoud to another Sasol, although not many are part of the new service yet, or from Sasol Swartgoud to a business or home address. Each parcel has a barcode which can be traced, so you’ll know just whereabouts your parcel is. Apparently, the time frame from leaving to arriving at its destination is quite good.

You can phone Sasol Swartgoud on 011 433 1668 or email: swartgoud@iafrica.com, alternatively phone the call centre on 086 055 5450, email: infoskynet.co.za or visit the website: www.skynet.co.za

That’s it for this week. Shop till you drop.
