Autumn is definitely here in all its glory and I’m certain winter isn’t far behind. Time for duck down duvets, winter duvet covers and sheets, electric blankets, cosy throws, hot chocolate and steaming bowls of soup. I’m not a winter person at all and I often think I should go into hibernation for the next few months, but looking on the bright side, I’m loving all the gorgeous winter clothing coming into the shops.
Pick n Pay Clothing
I’m not sure about all the Pick n Pay Clothing stores but the one at Mall of the South has some fantastic, well-priced clothes, for women and men. I didn’t check out the children’s section though. Choose from beautiful sleeveless puffer jackets with hoods and lined with fur, or quilted jackets, jeggings, leggings, soft jerseys, long-sleeved dresses which will great with thick tights and ankle boots as well as wellie boots with fur around the tops in navy or black. The brand name Cherokee has the most divine jackets too. Great weekend wear!
I don’t normally find many good buys at Pick n Pay Clothing, but I have to admit I’ll be visiting again soon to purchase some of these fab clothes.

Visit Poetry at Mall of the South for beautiful gifts, including, scarves, candles, diffusers, handbags, luxury chocolates and handmade nougat. They also sell some of the Wonki range of pottery, lovely bowls, plates and serving platters.
@Home Living Space has gorgeous luxury dressing gowns at 25% off until the day after Mother’s Day, unusual wooden photo frames (UMBRA) – four-photo frame for R299 and one photo for R149. Coral fleece throw 130cm x 180cm R189. Perfumed body soufflés, hand lotions and hand washes from R89.
Woolworths will keep your mom cosy and warm with their ponchos and wraps from R299, leather gloves R330, knitted fingerless gloves R120, winter knitted beanie from R99.95, slippers from R110, super-soft gowns from R299, and gorgeous body creams, hand creams and hand washes. A new range is Dorset Blue Hyacinth, with its distinct perfume and exquisite packaging.
