The Bag Lady

What's The Bag Lady been up to this last week?

I’m sure all of you who still work, are now back and hard at it and it’s already feeling like you never had a holiday! Never mind, the next public holiday isn’t that far away: Tuesday, March 21 – and according to those in the know, we have a few opportunities this year to make the most of the them, by adding a few extra days each time and ending up with a week off. Check your calendar.

Saving money

I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many sales in the shops as now. Even before Christmas, shops were discounting goods and I was thinking my idea of shopping early for Christmas gifts, was a bad idea. It seems people are struggling and because of this, shops aren’t selling their stock. Anyway, make good use of the sales now and buy what you need.

It’s too early

Horror of horrors, I saw some new winter clothing lines in Woolies the other day! It’s still too early with three to four months of summer weather left, I hope! Everything just seems to come into the shops earlier and earlier. I bet by next week, Valentine’s Day goods are out and the week after, Easter eggs will be.

Extra Strong Bin liners

Woolies is selling new bin liners for swing bins and vanity bins. Both sizes have odour neutralising technology and are lightly fragranced. The vanity liners – Cottage Garden – come with lavender, herbaceous florals and a hint of musk, while the swing bin liners – Citrus Grove – are fragranced with fresh citrus and herbal accords. The Swing Bin Liners cost R38,95 for 40 and the Vanity Bin Liners, are R25,95 for 20.

Not too much news this week. I’m still getting into the shopping mode, so for now, shop until you drop!
