Spring is definitely in the air and quite a few plants are already beginning to flower. I’m not totally convinced winter is over yet though, but it will be great if it is. I know, I know, we have been lucky this winter but I can’t wait for summer.
Make a start on Christmas gifts
Sales in most shops are still full on and I’m sure we’ll see prices dropping even further next week. This is a perfect time to begin your Christmas shopping, just saying! You’ll pick up some great bargains and it will save you time and money as the festive season approaches.

Boardman’s has a new glass and bronze range of home accessories, ranging from candle holders to snack bowls and platters. Something a bit different!
Home etc, is selling a wooden box wine rack which will hold 15 bottles of wine for R499. It will compliment a kitchen or dining room and will make a great engagement, wedding or new home gift.
A good work-out
My car has been in the panel beaters and no it wasn’t my fault. My car was stationery and a guy reversed into it. Anyway, I was fortunate to be able to drive my previous vehicle, which I’d sold to my neighbour for her son. I loved my Tazz and was quite happy to have it back for the time my new car was being repaired. What I’d forgotten though was how different a car is without power steering. Also the wind up windows! I honestly feel like I’ve had a good body work out at the end of each day and I’m now dying to get my car back. Which leads me to……
Bouquet of the Week
Alberante BMW, you deserve a bouquet for your professional and friendly staff. From the time I first took my car in I was advised via SMS from Dani about the booking-in date, estimated completion date, vehicle inline at the assembly bay and when it was at the polishing bay.
Now that’s what I call great service! I never once had to phone and ask what was happening to my car and when I could expect to collect it. When I arrived to collect my car, I was offered a coffee and the service was fantastic. Thank you. It makes such a difference to receive such superb service, especially when I had been put out and was waiting patiently for my repaired vehicle.
