The Bag Lady

What's the Bag Lady been up to this week?

We are already nearly through the first month of 2014 and I’m sure, you like me, are saying, “Where has it gone?” What’s that saying? Time waits for no man or woman – and it’s certainly true.
The next event on the calendar is Valentine’s Day, which is just around the corner. The shops are filled with everything red and romantic and even if you don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day you won’t be able to help but get caught up in the spirit of this sentimental day.
Let’s be honest even though Valentine’s Day is very commercial, more so every year, it doesn’t harm to spoil the one you love. It doesn’t have to be in a big way, a small gesture is all it needs.

Dining out
Book a romantic dinner at one of our great restaurants in the South. You really are spoilt for choice and whether you enjoy steak, fish or pasta you are well catered for. Book early though. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Friday this year, it’s going to be really busy.

Roses are red
Yes, flowers are expensive over this period but nothing quite says, I love you, like a beautiful bouquet of flowers, red roses being the ultimate, extravagant gift. I recently received a floral arrangement from my daughter and she ordered it from On Time Arrangements. It was gorgeous and lasted really well.
