Failure simply means that you are learning how to get it right. Too many people sit around frustrated, not knowing how to deal with it, yet frustration is unused energy, energy not finding an outlet.
Failing is not succeeding at the moment. It is the battle, not the war; it is also a vital step to the next one, getting it right. ‘Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind’ is a Biblical injunction which carries a world of wisdom. See the failing for what it is, a move in the right direction. Just don’t give up. It is creation panel-beating you into shape.
Through frustration many people live on auto-pilot. Others are simply an accident looking for a place to happen. More and more teenagers are taking to drugs and teenage pregnancies are on the increase. School kids are even making videos of their classmates having sex in the classroom. They do not know what to do with the pent-up energy so they use it destructively.
A young girl, early twenties complained, “I feel worthless. Life has no meaning.” She could not find work; there was no love in her life. The act of breathing had lost its purpose. She’d sit on the bed on the third-floor of the one-bedroom flat she shared with her elder sister staring at the waist-high balcony wall, pondering when she was going to jump over to end this mess. There was no ‘if’, just a ‘when.’ The big ‘S’ is never an answer. Never!
No business ever fails. The person in charge failed – he failed to use his God-given, infinitely rich mind to dig deeper to find an answer. Then he says the business failed. The student who fails an examination has not reached the end of his or her life. Failing, like mistakes, are an integral part of life. No person goes through life without ever having to face the bitter taste of failing. That is how we grow and become as smart as most adults pretend they are. They failed many, many times getting there.
