Children excel at Alberton Eisteddfod

The Grade 000 and the Grade R children in the Creative Academy group recently participated in the Alberton Eisteddfod.

There was a collective of 47 gold certificates and 59 diplomas awarded on the day.

“We are so proud of the confidence the children displayed when reciting their prescribed poems. Participating in this annual event is highly encouraged at Creative Academy, as we believe that public speaking is a life-long skill that will put the children in good stead for their future,” said Jenna Axsel, director.

“A big thank you to all the teachers for preparing the children so well and to the parents for giving their children to opportunity to participate.”
