Better Alrode South campaign continues with its mission

As most of the purpose for the Better Alrode South project has been done already, local businesses in Alrode South held a meeting to ensure that the business hub is kept in condition after the work done.

Different representatives of various companies in Alrode South gathered for an important meeting regarding the Better Alrode South campaign.

The atmosphere buzzed with a mix of anticipation and responsibility, each member keenly aware of their role in the newly launched campaign to revitalise their business hub.

The campaign, initiated just weeks earlier, had brought together these diverse companies, each contributing R5 000 to address the worsening pothole situation and improve the overall Alrode South infrastructure.

The spirit of collaboration was palpable, as they all shared a common goal: to create a more inviting and efficient environment for their businesses and the community.

The agenda had several topics to cover but four important matters were outlined: the responsibility of each company to clean the drains along their respective roads to avoid risks of floods as raining season is approaching, the importance of road markings to enhance safety and visibility, especially with the influx of traffic during the rainy season, keeping perimeters clean and maintaining the business hub’s entrance as this will set the tone for everything that follows.

As the meeting wrapped up, the representatives felt a renewed sense of purpose.

They had come together not just to tackle potholes but to foster a culture of accountability and pride in their business hub. The campaign was about more than just fixing roads; it was about building the community.

Stepping out of the meeting room, each representative felt empowered to take action, knowing that their contributions would lead to a brighter and more welcoming Alrode South.

The rainy season might bring challenges, but with their combined efforts, they were ready to face them head-on.
