In response to the MMC for finance’s announcement that none of the R2b allocation will go to rejuvenating Alberton Boulevard, local businesses joined forces to launch a clean-up campaign.
Clr Tim Denny welcomed the initiative, urging more businesses to participate.
“We get no help from the municipality. The only thing we can do is to help ourselves, and the clean-up is the first step,” said Denny.
The campaign aims to beautify the area, addressing litter, maintenance and the overall aesthetic appeal.
