Alberton Stars and De Little Stars learners celebrate family carnival

Stalls were set up with a variety of goods for sale, jumping castles and a multitude of games, as well as prizes for the children and their parents.

Alberton Stars Private School and De Little Stars Preschool and Aftercare held a fun-filled family carnival at Laerskool President Steyn’s sports grounds.

The carnival aimed at strengthening parent, teacher, and learner relations.

This is one of the games the children played with their parents and teachers.

The children were excited to have fun and games with their parents while their teachers cheered on. Some activities included jumping castles, swimming, and photo opportunities with the mascots for the children.

Chrissy Taylor, a teacher at the school, said: “It was a fantastic day, and the weather played its part. It was amazing to see the joy on all our parents’ and learners’ faces. The children had an absolute ball on the jumping castles, food, and pictures with our beautiful character mascot. It was our first of many events to come.”
