Laerskool Generaal Alberts Primary hosts debate competition

Laerskool Generaal Alberts Primary learners enjoyed a debate competition for all grades, with the top ones in each grade announced as the overall winners.

Laerskool Generaal Alberts learners recently participated in a school-based debate competition.

Learners from grades One to Seven participated, and each grade received a different debate topic.

The debate’s primary aim was to promote creative speech, self-confidence, and leadership because public speaking is vital and a large part of our daily lives.

The festival began at the start of the third term, and the finals were on August 6 at a gala event.

The winners:

Grade One: Kal-El Pelzer

Grade Two: Aurora Clack

Grade Three: Darshani Subbiah

Grade Four: Sneha Meghraj

Grade Five: Rudolf van Rooyen

Grade Six: Karis Chihobo

Grade Seven: Addison Palm.
