JOY Dogs visit St Mary’s Home

The JOY Dogs collaborated with Visions of Joy at St Mary's Children's Home.

Visions of Joy (VoJ) collaborated with Sue Green and her JOY dogs and visited St Mary’s Children’s Home in Rosettenville.

The visit aimed to bring a bit of joy to the children and allow them to interact with the VoJ volunteers and the cute, playful and loving Old English Sheepdogs.

The dogs performed tricks and played with all the kids making the day fun.

Sue, the owner of the JOY dogs, also makes different items out of her dogs’ fluffy, wool-like hair. She makes key rings and clothing items. The kids received a fur keyring to remember the day. The joy was felt and expressed by all involved.

Rabiya Mohammed, VoJ project manager, extends an invitation to anyone wanting to collaborate with or donate to the organisation.

“VoJ does a lot of work to help kids in need and to bring some fun to their lives. We love to work with people and organisations who do the same or just want to help,” said Rabiya.
