Johannesburg south care facility requires assistance

Caring facility requires assistance to continue helping people.

DEOPR Caring Facility requires assistance with the maintenance and improvement of their facility.

The facility has not been renovated or maintained for many years but since CEO Hennie Els took over, the premises has gradually been improving.

DEOPR currently houses over 70 people, including the elderly and some children who suffer from various medical conditions.

Maintenance is essential as the premises are large and could even house more people in need but due to a lack of appropriate infrastructure, they cannot.

The facility needs general upkeep and also new equipment and necessities such as washing machines, new mattresses for the frail care unit, tiles, paint and improvements to the bathrooms.

DEOPR does not receive government funding and relies on monthly payments from residents who cannot afford it. Therefore they need donations or help in terms of maintaining their premises.

Those interested in assisting in a meaningful way can contact Hennie Els on 083 592 8765.
