Parklands High learners shine in national competition

Learners from Parklands High School participated in the South African Reserve Bank’s school challenge and progressed to the finals.

Parklands High School learners recently participated in the South African Reserve Bank’s 2024 Monetary Policy Committee Schools Challenge.

After much dedication and hard work, they were the only school in the district that made it to the finals. The national competition saw more than 140 schools participate.

The challenge aimed to give young people a better understanding of how the economy functions and the importance of monetary policy.

The school will receive its accolade on August 20. The school management commended the learners on their triumph.
