Fundraising bazaar hosted at local church
Locals were treated to various stalls and loads of fun during this past weekend’s fundraising event.
The Nederduits Hervormde Kerk in 2nd Avenue, Florentia, had a Festa Florentia fundraising event on July 26 and 27.
On July 27, Riana Nel, owner of Haiya’s Corner and Haiya’s Indoor Bazaar, organised a bazaar for a further extension of the fundraiser. On the day, there were lots of fun activities such as ‘tombola’, spin-the-wheel, and they had a mini auction.
There were various stalls from biltong, kaiings and pap, melkkos, barista coffee, funky socks and the best-preserved goods.
The Pitbull Gymnasium also brought along some of their powerlifters to showcase their impressive skills.
