Vandalism concerns in Eden Park school’s fence

Vandalism steals children’s right to basic education and learning.

Vandalism caused parts of the fence at the Eden Park Senior Secondary School to be almost destroyed.

Both concrete and steel fencing have been wrecked.

A Facebook user commented on the vandalism of the school, saying: “I implore you to take charge of this situation. We must come together to identify and stop those responsible for these destructive acts. Our children are watching, and they need to see that we will stand up to protect what is rightfully theirs.

“We cannot stand idle while the school fence is being destroyed,” the user added.

Parents, guardians and residents in the Eden Park area are urged to participate in efforts to combat vandalism against schools, by attending meetings, participating in discussions, and taking active steps to monitor and report suspicious activities around the school.
