The Kliprivier SAPS’ Social Crime Prevention Unit joined neighbouring community governing bodies to host a sports against crime soccer tournament for the youth.

The Kliprivier SAPS’ Social Crime Unit, sector commanders, stakeholders, community safety, Suikerbosrand Lodge, and the CPF hosted a sports against crime soccer tournament on July 5.

The tournament held at the Everite Sports Ground saw four teams participate.

According to Sergeant Ndhambi Tintswalo of the Kliprivier SAPS, the tournament aimed to create a busy sports environment for unemployed youth and keep them away from crime.
