“Many of our seniors rely on their social grants for daily living, and we wanted to show them that they are valued members of our community,” said the mall marketing manager Lenita Cunha.
Residents and onlookers praised the mall’s gesture on social media, with many expressing admiration for the thoughtful event and calling for similar initiatives to be implemented in other communities.
