Thokoza man wins a car through SPAR competition
“I feel happy. I didn’t believe that something like this could happen to someone like me,” said Khathutshelo Jeffery Sidogi.
Khathutshelo Jeffery Sidogi from Thokoza had his day filled with excitement when he won a brand-new 50 Fiery Red Hyundai Grand i10 in the SPAR Win a Car competition.
Macy’s SPAR invited Sidogi to come and collect his car on June 12 at the store’s premises in Alberton.
This comes after Sidogi was announced as one of the 43 winners in the SPAR Win a Car competition.
The competition ran from April 22 to June 2. People had to buy any participating product at SPAR, TOPS at SPAR, SPAR2U, or SPAR Express and swipe their new SPAR Rewards card.
What was more exciting about the competition was the fact that on Fridays, every participating product bought gets a triple entry into the competition to win.
“The competition is an initiative to create more feet through the doors to keep customers more aware of the SPAR brand. It is also our way of giving back to the customers for spending their money at our shops,” said Peet van der Berg, Macy’s Spar manager.
