Khayelitsha informal settlement in Kliprivier recently held an imbizo to discuss their concerns about their area. The people came in numbers because they looked forward to this gathering.

This imbizo comes after residents noticed the municipality and police are failing to serve the community.

The Kliprivier SAPS introduced its station management to the community and explained the services offered by the station. The SAPS promised to work with the community to combat crime in the area and tackle some of the issues the community faces.

Khayelitsha residents warmly welcomed the police, making the gathering a success.
