Impact Independent High School treats new learners to a three-day camp

Impact Independent High School welcomed the Grade Eight learners differently when it treated them to a three-day camp at Camp Constantia Rus to encourage them to work as a team for the next five years.

Impact Independent High School’s new learners and the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) members had a wonderful time at Camp Constantia Rus.

The camp’s objectives were to let learners develop social skills and teamwork abilities and work on personal development while creating lifelong friendships and memories.

The camp aimed to educate the learners on the importance of working in groups because most activities required group work.

“Thank you to everyone who ensured the camp was a success, especially our teachers and RCL members, for an unforgettable experience,” said Dalene Pretorius, the school principal.
