Help President and Cupcakes of Hope support children with cancer

Learners, teachers and community members are invited to participate in Childhood Cancer Day by donating, volunteering or spreading the word.

Hoërskool President High School is joining forces with Cupcakes of Hope to mark Childhood Cancer Day and raise awareness and funds for children and their families battling cancer.

This collaborative effort aims to shed light on the struggles faced by young cancer patients and their loved ones while offering tangible support and hope.

Childhood cancer is a devastating reality for many families worldwide.

According to Nene Golele from the school, the emotional, physical, and financial toll of childhood cancer extends beyond the individual patient, affecting families and communities profoundly.

“Hoërskool President High School recognises the urgent need to address these challenges and stand in solidarity with those affected by childhood cancer. By partnering with Cupcakes of Hope, a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer, the school aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients and their families,” she said.

In event will be held on February 15, which will serve as a platform to raise awareness about childhood cancer and generate much-needed funds to support treatment, research, and support services.

“Hoërskool President High School encourages individuals and businesses to reach out to Natascha Daniels on 081 783 9923 or Cupcakes of Hope @Cupcakesofhope or cupcakesofhope.org to donate or learn more about how they can get involved.

“Whether through monetary contributions, volunteering, or advocacy efforts, every act of support counts in the fight against childhood cancer,” Golele explained.”

Hoërskool President High School and Cupcakes of Hope invite everyone to join hands in this good cause and be a beacon of hope for children and families in their time of need.
