Shiva Shakti Mandir hosts Swami Maheshvarand
Swami Maheshvarand offered devotees spiritual inspiration and an experience of life-changing devotion during a recent gathering at Liefde en Vrede.
Shiva Shakti Mandir welcomed Swami Maheshvarand and his international delegation at their Liefde en Vrede temple on September 12.
“Shree Krishna tells his discipline Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita, ‘The self-realised soul can impart knowledge to you Arjuna because he has seen the Absolute Truth’. Swamiji is that self-realised soul from whom we seek the mercy of enlightenment, and we are most fortunate that we had Sadhu Sangha (association with guru) with Swamiji’s visit,” explained resident priest Pundit Singh.
During the Sadhana Programme of 1988 in Mangarh Pratapgarh India, Singh explained that Maheshvarand had the fortune of meeting Jagadguruttam Shri Kripaluji Maharaj, and accepted Him as his spiritual master.
With the guidance and grace of his spiritual master, Swamiji studied the deepest aspects of the Vedic Bhartiya philosophy described in the sacred Sanskrit scriptures (Vedas, Puranas, Shastras, Gita and more).
Singh said: “Swamiji’s speeches awaken a deep sense of spiritual contentment and inspire a positive faith for the attainment of true everlasting happiness. His lectures and meditation programmes are a revelation of the secrets of God-realisation. Anyone can benefit by applying these practical teachings and spiritual principles to daily life.”
He reiterated that Maheshvarand has been giving spiritual programmes in the West Indies, India, Canada, USA, and SA.
“His lectures touch the heart and have transformed the lives of many seekers around the world. His chanting of the sacred name of God inspires divine love in the hearts of the devotee. He is well-loved by all devotees for his warm, humble, and caring nature and greatly respected for his engaging discourses on devotion,” Singh said.
The Jagrithi Nauyuak Sangh of SA (JNS) assists Maheshvarand with his activities in SA. This organisation was founded by Pundit Suresh Singh and Pundit Shreenic Singh in 1995.
Pundit Shreenic Singh is involved in officiating Pooja and conducting spiritual discourses, while Pundit Suresh Singh is involved in organising and hosting all spiritual events.
