Local beauty gives back towards Brackenhurst Primary’s care packs
Miss Alberton Teen 2022 (Charity) and former learner, Inothando Mphiti, donated towards Brackenhurst Primary School’s drive to assist rape victims.
This term, Brackenhurst Primary School is collecting items for rape victim care packs to be donated to TEARS Foundation.
TEARS Foundation is an NPO specialising in the assistance and support network for survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
Miss Alberton Teen 2022 (Charity) Inothando Mphiti from the Mr and Miss Alberton beauty pageant made a generous donation to the school on May 19.
She presented two bags of sanitary towels to the school’s drive for rape care packs, adding to many items already donated by learners at the school.
The school is also currently collecting blankets to keep those in need warm this winter.
