Makro Alberton unveils revamped store

Makro Alberton store transforms to a fresh look, spacious layout, and an improved shopping experience.

Makro Alberton has revamped its newly transformed store to give customers a new and improved shopping experience with the latest technology.

Officially launched in 2013, the store was established to serve the communities of Alberton and the southern suburbs.

As the energy crisis persists nationally, the retailer will also be the first to offer a wider range of inverters and hybrid inverters, which can be coupled with solar panels to provide seamless power during load-shedding to homes and businesses.

“The core of our business is centred around making sure that the customers’ needs are met. The revamp is our way of ensuring that we stay ahead of the quality experience that we promise our shoppers and how we keep abreast of industry standards and trends.

Black Friday deals will offer shoppers amazing discounts.

“We invite our shoppers to come in and celebrate with us as we usher in a new wave of home and business solutions,” said Reggie Munsamy, general manager for Makro Alberton.

Among the revamps the store will showcase four new improvements, namely, a furniture department to supplement the office furniture range, a new look and feel to the hi-tech and multimedia department, the introduction of Makro Alberton’s brand-new electrical lighting department, and a wider range of dedicated alternate power solutions with offerings like solar bundles, water heating solutions, inverters/hybrid inverters and generators.

Customers can look forward to extended shopping hours during the Black5Day week as well as a few Sundays over the festive period.

Munsamy added that Makro will be running the Black5Day explosive sale from November 23 to 27 where customers can expect amazing discounts on key items across hi-tech and multimedia, food and liquor.

He also encouraged the community to come in and shop the Black Friday blazing hot deals from November 14 to 22.

“Customers can look forward to extended shopping hours during the Black5Day week as well as a few Sundays over the festive period,” he said.

Shoppers are invited to celebrate as Makro Alberton ushers in a new wave of home and business solutions.

“From inception, the store has been spearheading energy efficiency and minimising electricity consumption and customers can look forward to greener energy alterations early next year. Furthermore, we will provide affordable financing alternatives for solar solutions in order to provide access to more customers and assist them in keeping their lights on,” said Munsamy.
