Gert Hitzeroth murder case sees yet another postponement

Accused of killing Gert Hitzeroth, the couple is scheduled to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court on December 4.

Bianca Jackson and Shaun Walter Beaton, the accused in the murder of Gert Hitzeroth, appeared before the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on September 25.

It is alleged that Beaton, who is charged with murder, killed Hitzeroth by striking him with a baseball bat and then drowning him in a swimming pool. He pleaded guilty.

Jackson, who faces two charges, is accused of obstructing justice by removing the victim’s blood from the scene and concealing the murder weapon. She is also accused of being an accessory to an assault to cause great bodily damage.

She entered a not-guilty plea.

The magistrate’s court postponed the matter to December 4 due to the stenographer being ill and no one could fill in for them.
