Successful raid sees ATM bombing suspects arrested

After CPS Security received information about suspects involved in ATM bombings in Johannesburg and Ekuruleni, a team comprising law enforcement and security officers was established.

The June 26 raid saw five suspects tracked to the Rhamaposa informal settlement in Boksburg, where officers took them into custody. They recovered a shotgun and ammunition at the scene.

CPS Security and the local SAPS carried out the raid and arrested all five suspects.

Investigations are ongoing.
