2 men arrested for business burglary in Alrode

CPS Security recently arrested two men in Dan Jacobs Street, Alrode, for business burglary.

According to the sales director of CPS Security, Tyrone van der Merwe, two suspicious individuals were observed by their security guards stationed at an office park, leaping over a boundary wall. Reaction units were contacted for backup as the two suspects were monitored by the guards on site.

“Our reaction officers stood off within minutes and managed to apprehend one suspect. The second suspect managed to escape on foot,” said Van Der Merwe.

Stolen items and house burglary implements were recovered. Brackendowns SAPS were contacted and a case was opened.

“Well done to our security officers,” Van der Merwe said.
