Thirteen suspects were arrested on various charges in the Kliprivier SAPS policing precinct from February 9 to 11.
The charges ranged from driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal immigration.
The arrest was a joint effort between the Kliprivier SAPS, Afri Guard Tactical, Afri Guard K9, SRS Security, Compol Security, and Midvaal peace officers.
“Among the suspects, one was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm plus ammunition.
“The joint effort showed that together we can fight crime. SAPS members are committed to the code of conduct of the SAPS, which is to serve and protect,” Sergeant Ndhambi Tintswalo of Kliprivier SAPS said.
