Unsubmitted docket delays Alberton mother and son murder case

This comes after a gardener appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court today after he was arrested following the murders of Nadine Terblanche (32) and Ruandré Vorster (9).

Today, the senior journalist from the Alberton Record spent most of the day at the Palmridge Magistrate Court, waiting for the court appearance of the gardener accused of a double homicide.

The case involves the murder of Nadine Terblanche and her 9-year-old son, Ruandré Vorster.

However, after hours of anticipation, it was only revealed late in the afternoon that the docket had not been submitted to the court yet. The suspect is now scheduled to appear before the court on November 30.

In a recent development, we also learned that Terblanche was not married as previously mentioned, but engaged to Freddie Stapelberg.

Albertonians also gathered at the victims’ home in Langenhoven Street to pay their respects. Flowers and a soft toy were placed as symbols of remembrance and support during this difficult time.
