Members of Brackendowns SAPS received a tip-off about a 16-year-old girl with a disability who was raped by multiple males between the ages of 14 to 40 years old.
A task team was then established between the men and women in blue, CPF and AfriForum.
Station commander Colonel Jacoline van der Westhuizen led the team and one suspect was arrested for rape and was taken to Brackendowns SAPS for detention.
The suspect appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on November 20.
