Cable theft suspects arrested in Mulbarton
After Fox Security received a tip-off from security guards that thieves were digging up in a veld next to Kliprivier Drive, Fox Security responded swiftly and arrested three suspects.
Three suspects were arrested in Mulbarton next to Kliprivier Drive for cable theft by Fox Security on August 30.
The operations director of Fox Security, Francois Jansen, said that they were alerted by security personnel who reported that they have heard individuals digging in the veld near to Kliprivier Drive.
“Our Fox Reaction and tactical units responded and closed all entrances and exits from the veld,” Jansen said.
Fox Security reported they needed to make sure that the suspects were apprehended as they have had a massive increase in cable theft in the area in the past few months.
Three suspects were apprehended after a chase ensued.
