Suspect crashes stolen vehicle in Ormonde
The suspect was arrested after a high speed chase along Eucalyptus Street.
A man has been arrested after a high-speed chase on Eucalyptus Street, Ormonde ended in a crash on August 17.
According to the director of CPS Security, Tyrone van der Merwe, a call was received from a CPS Security client after his bakkie was stolen in the Wadeville area.
“The tracking unit was activated immediately after the vehicle was stolen, which led to a high-speed chase,” he said.
Tyrone said the suspect lost control of the stolen vehicle and crashed into a resident’s perimeter wall.
The suspect was arrested and taken to Mondeor SAPS.
