EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit steer successful operation in Alberton
Ekurhuleni Social Crime Prevention Unit (EMPD) officers held police visibility, by-laws enforcement, stop and search, and crime prevention operation on Heidelberg Road on June 9.
During the operation, at least 83 vehicles were stopped and searched and 25 written notices for various transgressions were issued to motorists who were not complying with the law.
This, according to the EMPD, is an ongoing operation, conducted around the City of Ekurhuleni.
