A 32-year-old man was arrested on November 24 around 16:45 on charges of dealing drugs, possessing drugs, and intimidation.
Sergeant Riaan Venter from the Brackendowns SAPS received information about a man selling illegal substances on Swartkoppies and Overbury roads.
Assisting Venter was Brackendowns CPF member Kieran Snowball. After identifying the alleged person, they began investigating him. During the search, the members discovered nyaope, dagga and cash on the suspect.
A further investigation revealed more dagga, weighing approximately 700g and valued at about R36 000.
The suspect was arrested and detained at Brackendowns SAPS and will soon appear in court.
