JSPCA inspectors ensure every paw finds safety and comfort

Under the moonlight, Johannesburg SPCA inspectors race to the rescue. If you spot an animal in need, be the hero they deserve. Contact their inspectors at 083 604 1172.

Johannesburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (JSPCA) is working tirelessly to ensure the well-being of furry friends.

The JSPCA inspectors took to the streets to aid animals in distress on the evening of November 12.

Liana Marx, the public relations officer of JSPCA, highlighted the proactive approach taken by the inspectors as they hit the road, poised to respond to any reports of animals in need.

“JSPCA’s commitment goes beyond the confines of their property. Our inspectors, equipped and ready, respond to distress calls from concerned citizens who come across animals abandoned, injured, or in urgent need of assistance,” said Marx.

Marx emphasised the critical role of the public in this mission, urging anyone who encounters animals in distress to contact their duty inspectors at 083 604 1172.

“The night patrols signify more than routine checks. They are a symbol of compassion in action. While the city sleeps, JSPCA inspectors embark on a mission to be the voice for those who cannot speak. Yet, the JSPCA’s dedication doesn’t end on the streets,” said Marx.

She encapsulated the essence of JSPCA’s mission stating, “At Johannesburg SPCA, we believe that every animal deserves compassion and protection. This belief is translated into action, not just through the night patrols but in the daily commitment to create a nurturing environment for every animal in our care.”
