Mr & Ms Waterstone College, Kwanda Nkosi and Tswelopele Hlaisa, as well as all of the contestants, showed elegance and style at the Mr & Ms Waterstone College event.

Waterstone College hosted a spectacular event that left attendees in awe on October 28.

With a Greek-themed extravaganza, 28 contestants took the stage, captivating the audience with grace and poise.

Magriet Payne, the marketing manager at Waterstone College, said the event, sponsored by Scalliwags Costume Hire and Online Store, showcased not only the participants’ striking attire but also their dedication to making a positive impact.

“The opening dance choreographed to perfection, transported the audience to the ancient streets of Greece.

The contestants, adorned in authentic Greek attire, set a captivating tone for the evening. As they elegantly paraded in their ball gowns and tuxedos, it was clear that this was more than just a beauty pageant. It was a celebration of confidence, charisma, and purpose,” said Payne.

The panel of judges selected the winners, and each contestant demonstrated exceptional qualities.

The winners were announced in various categories, each representing a unique facet of their remarkable personalities:

• Mr Bold: Kwanda Nkosi

• Mr Bold runner-up: Kole Daniels

• Ms Beautiful runner-up: Veronique Richardt

Payne said Nkosi and Hlaisa, crowned Mr & Ms Waterstone College, will embark on a year of meaningful contributions to the school.

“Beyond their appearances, they will play an instrumental role in outreach and marketing efforts for next year’s event,” said Payne.

Payne added that the event’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Figures Model Finesse International Alberton and Glenvista.

“Their invaluable contributions played a pivotal role in creating a memorable evening for all involved.”
