Nova Pioneer launches bursary and scholarship programme

These initiatives aim to make quality education accessible to more talented youth in Gauteng, regardless of their financial backgrounds.

Nova Pioneer recently launched the Nova Pioneer Foundation’s Financial Need-Based Bursary Programme and the expansion of their Academic Scholarships Programme.

These initiatives aim to make quality education accessible to more talented youth in Gauteng, regardless of their financial backgrounds.

The bursary and scholarships aim to alleviate the financial burden that learners and their families might face, making education more accessible and reducing the barriers to entry. By easing financial constraints, scholarships enable learners to focus more on their studies, extracurricular activities, and personal growth.

According to Belinda Godfrey, the chief commercial officer at Nova Pioneer, the scholarships recognise and reward academic excellence, talent, or other deserving criteria, motivating students to strive for higher achievements.

“These opportunities will boost learners’ confidence and self-esteem and encourage them to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen fields. The financial support given to up to 100 learners next year will enable them to realise their full potential and help them become successful contributors to society,” said Godfrey.
