A heartwarming event to celebrate Youth Day
The learners invested their time in making a difference in the lives of the next generation.
Marist Brothers Linmeyer High School hosted a heartwarming event in commemoration of Youth Day.
The school invited 86 children from a local home to join their learners for a day filled with joy, laughter and fun.
As Nelson Mandela once said: “Children are our greatest treasure.” This sentiment could not be more true. The Marist Brothers Linmeyer High School family deeply values the opportunity to make a difference in these precious children’s lives and to create special memories with them.
The day was packed with exciting activities, including face painting, jumping castles, soccer, and delicious snacks and each child received a teddy.
As we celebrate our youth, we are reminded of the importance of nurturing and supporting the next generation.
Marist Brothers Linmeyer High School is honoured to have had the opportunity to share this special day with the children and looks forward to many more opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of the youth in our community.
