Join Netcare’s ‘CPR in the Park’

Come and learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the park free, in honour of Mandela Day.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) saves lives, and Netcare Alberton and Netcare Mulbarton Hospitals are hosting a CPR in the Park initiative on July 22 from 08:00 to 10:00.

Netcare Emergency and Trauma will be combining it with the parkruns at Meyer Farm and Rietvlei.

CPR is an emergency procedure that can help save a person’s life if their breathing or heart stops.

The initiative is part of their 67 minutes contribution to Mandela Day where they will be teaching the public basic CPR.

For more information on the CPR lesson taking place in Rietvlei Parkrun, contact Karin Koch on 083 302 4024, and for the Meyer Farm Parkrun, contact Zasskia Wiese on 071 893 7023.
