Mini market at The Olive Tree Garden Centre

There was food, arts, craft, music and entertainment at the mini-market.

Southerners and the surrounding community supported the mini market at The Olive Tree Garden Centre in Mulbarton on October 8.

People with different stalls ranging from scented candles to Alberton SPCA gathered at the centre to sell their products and items.

Michael de Oliveira from the centre said they have been with the centre since 2010 and sell various indoor and outdoor plants. Other accessories found at the centre include a lawnmower shop, a restaurant, a pizza place and salons.

They are open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 17:00.

Robert Jones from Alberton SPCA said they were invited by the centre to put up their stall. “We sell books, clothes and cakes. The motive of the market is to bring the public from the South into the centre. And there is a plan to host more of these.”

People enjoyed the day and there was also a children’s ice rink and jumping castle.
