Palmridge’s Haksul wins big with Content Connect Africa
After being nominated in the South African Music Awards 28 for SAMPRA Artist of the year, Haksul Muziq sealed a recording deal with one of the largest company, the Content Connect Africa.
Right after being stunned about his first-ever nomination in the SAMA28 awards, Haksul Muziq bagged a three-year recording deal with Continent Connect Africa.
Continent Connect Africa (CCA) is an independently owned South African media and content company with its headquarters in Johannesburg.
CCA’s key focus is on-portal and off-portal localised content delivered to mobile operators and third-party clients abroad African continents.
The recently international recognised artist will now release music under this publication starting this month.
Tokoloho Mavuso, widely known as Haksul Muziq, is set to release his first hit under the record label titled Imali (money), on July 22.
Haksul was nominated for the SAMPRA Artist of the Year award, together with other well-known musicians such as A-Reece, Musa Keys, Makhadzi, Emtee, Young Stunna, and many others.
According to the local artist, the year 2022 is indeed his year and a year to shine even brighter because he has been granted the opportunities he has been longing for from the very first day he ventured on the journey of music.
“I honestly believe that God has put me in this position because I have desired characteristics that dominate the most of me, which one of them is to help others. Now, this great opportunity I have been showered with will help me to fulfil my purpose both in a professional and personal way of helping others,” Haksul said.
The recognition by the CCA surfaced following the initial announcement of the Record of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and SAMPRA Artist of the Year nominees.
Haksul has released eight singles already under his name, including Ungiphul’intliziyo, Unobubele ngami, Thank You Mom, Skoloto, Ubumnandi, In No Time, Themba lam and Lengoma.
“The deal means a lot, I cannot thank the entity enough for the opportunity because they have proven to me that it is indeed possible to get where you want in life and no dream is ever too big for oneself,” Haksul Muziq concluded.
