Amcare received much-needed donations of about 50 blankets from Coleman Properties on July 5.
This kind of donation follows a few other previous contributions made to Amcare. In total Coleman Properties has delivered close to 100 blankets this winter.
Head of sales, Danie Ayres of Coleman Properties, told the Alberton Record they have delivered several blankets to the organisation and that they will be delivering more.
“We work in Alberton, Johannesburg South and Germiston. During this winter we successfully delivered blankets and we want to thank companies and individuals that assisted us in getting them to Amcare,” he said.
Marihet Infantino of Amcare thanked the company for their selflessness and for donating to them.
“These donations will be handed over to our beneficiaries and we have been getting more requests for blankets. It makes a difference in everybody’s lives if they could just get something and it’s a bit of hope that we give through these blankets,” she said.
