Emergency maintenance leaves Alberton without power
Residents will remain without power until maintenance or repairs are complete.
After experiencing different stages of load shedding throughout the week, most parts of Alberton woke up without power on this cold Sunday morning.
According to Ward 106 Councillor Tim Denny, there is emergency maintenance or repairs so they had to shut down the Eiger substation.
The following areas are affected:
- Brackenhurst
- Brackendowns
- Randhart
- Alrode
- Meyersdal
- General Alberts
- Thokoza North
