Cobras Shotokan Karate Club won 23 medals

Club brings back 23 medals from the World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) South African Championships.

Cobras Shotokan Karate Club won 23 medals at the World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) South African Championships held at the Southern Sun Board Walk Hotel, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), recently.

The event attracted 500 competitors from 13 different federations across the country.

While the competition was tough, the high standards of students from the Cobras Club enabled them to come home with nine gold medals, 11 silver medals, and three bronze medals.

The Cobras Shotokan Karate Club trains every Monday and Wednesday at Ascot Mews located at 19 Heidelberg Road from 17:30 to 18:30 for beginner classes and from 18:30 to 19:30 for advanced classes.
